MEMORIES
Objects are born of a need, an idea, a discovery, but they also have a lifespan, which sometimes, the frenzy of our consumer society reduces prematurely.
This project named on purpose "Memories", is a kind of memory duty, reminding us of their existence, but also their becoming. Sometimes totally abandoned, sometimes just forgotten in place, they wither, decompose more or less quickly, depending on their material, the environment in which they henceforth are.

Miami, April 2015
The caboose is a manned North American rail transport vehicle coupled at the end of a freight train which provided shelter for crew, including an office, accommodations and cooking facilities. It also served as a mean to observe the train during the journey. This one lies in a trains' cemetery which is also a museum in Miami

Renaissance
Quebec, June 2017
This image is coming from an outing that I did with some friends into a bizarre scrap yard, where the owner stocks car/bus/truck wrecks for over 40 years. The insane number of wrecks are spread over, in a kind of forest, where the vegetation has eaten a considerable number of them over the years
